Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 July 2026
These Terms govern your use of wacrm, operated by Slimhippo Technologies LLP(“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
1. The service
wacrm is a customer-relationship tool for businesses communicating with their customers through the WhatsApp Business Platform. It provides a shared inbox, contact and pipeline management, broadcasts, automations and reporting.
wacrm is an independent product. It is not endorsed by, affiliated with or operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp is Meta's trademark.
2. Accounts and approval
- You must give accurate registration details and keep them current.
- New accounts are reviewed and approved by us before they can send messages. We may decline an application at our discretion.
- You are responsible for everything done under your account, and for the security of your credentials. Tell us promptly at contact@slimhippo.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You are responsible for the conduct of every teammate you invite.
3. Your WhatsApp account
To use wacrm you connect your own WhatsApp Business account and phone number, obtained from Meta. You remain that account's owner, and your relationship with Meta is governed by Meta's own terms. We act only on the permissions you grant us. You are responsible for any fees Meta charges for conversations.
4. Acceptable use
You must comply with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and the WhatsApp Business Terms of Service. In particular you must not:
- Message anyone who has not opted in to hear from you, or continue messaging someone after they have opted out.
- Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or content that is unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, harassing, hateful or obscene.
- Use the service for any product or activity Meta's Commerce Policy prohibits.
- Impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent who is messaging.
- Upload malware, attempt to break the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or bypass rate limits, credit limits or access controls.
- Resell or sublicense the service, or use it to build a competing product.
- Scrape or extract data belonging to other customers of the service.
Breaking these rules can get your WhatsApp number restricted or banned by Meta — an outcome we cannot reverse — and we may suspend or terminate your account for it.
5. Your data and your customers' data
You keep ownership of your data and your contacts' data. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process and display it in order to run the service for you.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and message your contacts, for honouring their opt-outs, and for responding to their privacy requests. We handle that data as described in our Privacy Policy, where we act as your processor.
6. Plans, credits and payment
- Plans are agreed with us directly. Depending on the plan, sending is either metered against a message-credit balance or included in an annual fee.
- On metered plans, sending stops at a zero balance. Keeping enough credit is your responsibility.
- Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise, and are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
- Charges Meta levies for WhatsApp conversations are separate from our fees and are billed to you by Meta.
7. Availability
We work to keep wacrm available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party failures — including outages at Meta — and events outside our control can interrupt it. Unless we have signed a separate service-level agreement with you, the service is provided without an uptime commitment.
8. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account via Delete Your Data.
- We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, creates a security or legal risk, or has unpaid fees. Where practicable we give notice first.
- On termination your right to use the service ends and your data is deleted on the timeline in the Privacy Policy. Export anything you need beforehand.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, or that any message will be delivered — delivery is Meta's to perform, not ours.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms or of Meta's policies.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and we will notify account owners of material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
